which layout should i use??

Today when i was doing my assignment, i asked my friend to give me suggestion that which layout is more nicer to put on my friendster's profile.

She said (b) is better than (a) to use as your layout. That is more creative and not too complicated. Also, the layout is much easier to attract people to visit your profile.
After i heard her answer, i was very blur about that because i do not know which layout that she suggested to me. She was confusing me by using the Fallacy of Ambiguity.
